Role:
Kay re-joined Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation on August 20th, 2007 after two years of being away. She brings with her years of experience in economic development through her prior role as the CEO for the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County and most recently as the Director of Development for Memorial Hospital Foundation, Fremont.

Kay also brings with her 12 years of experience as an elected official. Her community involvement has assisted in strengthening her understanding of local needs. Some of her community involvements include: Vice Chair, Area 7 (WIA) Workforce Investment Board; Past Chair & Founding Member, T.R.I.P.S. (Sandusky County's Rural Transportation System); Board Member, NORED; Past Board Member, Terra State Community College; Past Board Member, Memorial Hospital Foundation; and Past President, Rotary of Fremont.

Kay understands challenges facing the business community and is available to provide assistance. Her knowledge of the process of establishing new businesses and assisting with expansion projects in the State of Ohio is an asset to the SCEDC organization.

Role:
Beth joined Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation as the Coordinator of Corporate Training 6 years ago. Through a contractual agreement with Terra Community College, Beth assists in addressing the training needs of employers throughout Sandusky County. Beth also facilitates the activities connected with the Workforce Development Taskforce of SCEDC that include small business training grants, business/school mentoring and customized training programs. Role:
Karen has been an asset to Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation with over 18 years of service. As Administrative Assistant, Karen coordinates the Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation’s administrative office needs, along with the administrative needs of Sandusky County’s Airport Authority and the Sandusky County Community Improvement Corporation. Karen works with the Executive Director in overseeing the database management for the Building/Site files for Sandusky County’s communities and responding to the ODOD leads.
