Tri-County Health Care Consortium

The Tri-County Health Care Consortium is a collaboration of health care organizations in Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca Counties. The consortium formed on September 13, 2001, to address the problem of a shortage of health care professionals in the three county region.

The mission statement of the Tri-County Health Care Consortium is, “United in supporting the entrance and advancement of health care providers throughout Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca Counties.”

Over the past two years, the consortium has met monthly and collaborated on training opportunities and job fairs and continues to seek grant opportunities for skills upgrades amongst their current employees and for new entrances into the health care field.

The health care organizations and partners participating in the Tri-County Health Care Consortium are: Autumnwood Care Center, Bellevue Hospital, Community Health Services, Edgewood Manor, Parkview Care Center, Magruder Hospital, Memorial Hospital, Ottawa County Improvement Corporation, Ottawa County Riverview Services, Otterbein at North Shore, St. Francis Health Care Center, St. Francis Home, Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services, Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation, Terra Community College and WSOS Community Action Commission.
